Campsite Lac de Sainte Croix

During your holiday at Camping Rives du Lac de Sainte Croix, explore Lake Sainte Croix in complete freedom! Hire a bike or kayak and discover its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking scenery. Book your equipment from July to August at the campsite reception. Make the most of your stay by playing a game of pétanque on our specially marked out pitch. Our play area, located in the centre of the campsite and close to the toilet blocks, is ideal for younger children. Here they can make friends, play or relax under the oak trees. For the more active, there are outdoor weights machines available. Picnic tables are also available nearby.

In July and August, take part in our events from Sunday to Friday to enjoy some friendly moments. Start with the welcome drink every Sunday to find out about the entertainment programme and get information about the region. Take part in our pétanque and table tennis tournaments, and have fun with our games, karaoke, concerts, dance evenings and evening games. Twice a week in July and August, our activity leader will take you on walks and village visits to discover the Verdon. Take part in car-sharing excursions and discover the magnificent surrounding countryside. You can also take advantage of the water sports and thrill-seeking activities available outside the campsite (some of which may require a financial contribution).

The Sainte Croix lake offers a multitude of water sports: sailing, pedal boats, electric boats, kayaking and stand-up paddle. Around the lake, you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, climbing and Via Ferrata over the Verdon canyon, as well as horse riding. Thrill-seekers will love rafting or canoeing down the Verdon, departing between Castellane and Lac de Sainte Croix.

Gourmets can explore the Provencal markets and craft shops in the villages of Bauduen, Aups, Castellane, Aiguines and Moustiers Sainte Marie, packed with local produce and flavours.

Our reception team is on hand to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You'll find tourist information, advice and a warm welcome. We also stock basic necessities and regional products, such as the famous Valensole honey beer. For those with a sweet tooth, we offer ice creams and cold drinks, as well as bread and pastries (to order) every morning. Please note that the campsite does not have WIFI. Also on site you'll find

• La Gaudina snack bar: open from May to September, our snack bar serves ice creams, cold drinks and pizzas. You can eat in or take away. In July and August, the snack bar is open every day and organises themed evenings and concerts. In low season, it is open from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime inclusive.
• Grocery shop: open from June to September, our grocery shop offers a variety of products so you don't have to go anywhere. You can pick up pastries and bread for a relaxing wake-up call. This service is also available at reception when the shop is closed. In July and August, the grocery shop is open every day of the week, and in low season, from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime inclusive.

Our Verdon campsite also offers quality services for your stay in Bauduen, at the foot of Lake Sainte Croix. You'll find a spacious sanitary block with individual showers and washbasins located in the centre of the campsite and easily accessible. Next door, a large launderette with several washing machines and tumble dryers is at your disposal (charges apply).
