Explore Finistère from north to south!

Plage de sable blanc avec l'océan turquoise

Discover the unique places to be found only in Finistère, at the westernmost tip of Brittany. Begin your holiday with a trip to the Glénan archipelago and delight at the heavenly view of the seven islets. No doubt about it, between the white sand and lovely clear water, you'll feel as if you’re on a tropical island!

If you really want to take it to the edge, head for the islands of Molène and Ouessant, the last pieces of land before you reach America! Here you’ll find the most remarkable marine nature park, home to dolphins, seals and a whole wealth of other sea creatures.

Last but not least, go on an expedition to the Monts d’Arrée nature park in its beautiful mountain setting. In the heart of Brittany, discover an immense area untouched by human intervention, and admire the stunning view from the chapel of Saint-Michel-de-Brasparts, perched on top of a mountain.

Love the scenery of Brittany but worried about the weather? It’s true that Finistère isn’t reputed for good weather and is sometimes affected by atmospheric disturbances from the Atlantic. But that does nothing to spoil the charm of this unique and endearing region. So quickly, book your 3, 4 or 5-star campsite with a large pool complex!

Make the most of the beautiful beaches of Finistère or go fishing in the ocean when you book your holiday rental at a campsite by the sea. Choose a mobile home with all the mod cons or a bare pitch for your own tent or caravan.

The many islands, charming ports, nature park and local gastronomy all beckon you to visit! Choose the right time of year to book your campsite in Finistère.

The various activities available in Finistère!

Oeil du phare de l'Île Vierge dans le Finistère en Bretagne

In Finistère, you will of course be able to start by trying all the watersports available at the beach, or simply go swimming in the clear, often heavenly waters. If you’re interested in learning to fish, you can take an introductory lesson in a specialist school. This is fishermen’s heaven, after all!

Next, venture out to the multiple islands and archipelagos to visit, among others, the island of Batz on foot or by bike. Along the way, you’ll enjoy the gardens and local restaurants. To see even more amazing scenery, go walking and climb the steps to the top of a lighthouse, such as the one on Vierge Island, the tallest ashlar lighthouse in the world.

You might be lucky enough  to come across some grey seals. Go on a submarine exploration for a memorable experience. These excursions are organised in small groups in order to respect the natural habitat and its occupants!
