Welcome to the l'Abri de Camargue campsite-village, a haven of peace in Languedoc Roussillon, home of sunshine and conviviality. Ideally situated in Le Grau du Roi, a typical fishing village on the Mediterranean coast, our campsite is just 1000 metres from the beaches, between Nîmes and Montpellier. And just 1.5 km from the town centre.
With almost 45 years' experience, our family-run campsite, independent of hotel chains, is committed to offering you a warm, authentic experience, far removed from impersonal standards. Our 300-plus pitches, surrounded by Mediterranean greenery, guarantee you peace and privacy in a shady 4-hectare park. Here you'll find the very essence of camping, with a friendly atmosphere and personalised services to support you throughout your stay. Our human-scale campsite prioritises the quality of its infrastructure to ensure optimum comfort, in keeping with the architectural traditions of the Camargue. Enjoy all the comforts of home, with our regional bar-restaurant, leisure areas, varied entertainment and two swimming pools, one of which is covered and heated. On the seafront, close to the Espiguette beach, our campsite promises unique moments of relaxation, discovery and festivities. In July and August, we'll be adding to this busy programme with entertainment and a children's club. Fun for everyone!
You can look forward to a holiday punctuated by the discovery of the Camargue, the beach, nearby activities and sports facilities. And at its heart, between marshes, dunes and fine sand, you'll discover a wild and unspoilt environment, perfect for relaxing and getting away from it all. Discover horse riding or boat trips on the canals. The renowned resort of Le Grau-du-Roi invites you to visit its port and canal, and to experience the traditions and special atmosphere of its festivals: Camargue races, Languedoc jousting, gypsy evenings, etc. The picturesque landscapes, the small fishing port of Grau du Roi and the pink flamingos of the Camargue invite you to explore nature and its wonders.

Welcome to the swimming pools of the 4-star Abri de Camargue campsite, where blue meets the blue of the sea. With an indoor heated swimming pool and a large outdoor pool, our campsite offers you an exceptional aquatic experience throughout your stay. Our indoor pool, sheltered under a glass roof, is open and heated from the start of the season until the end of summer. Whatever the weather, you'll be able to enjoy a dip in water at over 25°C. For swimming enthusiasts, our indoor pool offers a dedicated swimming area, unique in the region. Outside, our large summer swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers and wooden straw huts, is the ideal place for the whole family to cool off and relax. Our two pools are equipped with slides for children's enjoyment and a toddler pool. Every week, aquafun and aquafitness classes are offered free of charge by a qualified instructor, providing a fun fitness option for all ages.
For those who prefer to laze on the sand: the Espiguette beach offers 18 km of fine sand in a protected natural setting. Listed as one of the most beautiful beaches in France, it's a real jewel in the region's crown. Activities and entertainment
The Abri de Camargue campsite offers a multitude of free activities for everyone, all year round. From mid-April until September, you can enjoy a variety of entertainment, from shows to sports activities and evening entertainment.
For children, the "Les Lutins Camarguais" club offers fun and educational activities, supervised by specially trained activity leaders. In addition, pony rides are organised every week in high season. Teenagers have their own area, "L'Annexe", where they can enjoy music and evening entertainment.
In the evening, on the large terrace opposite the "Le Sud" restaurant, a variety of entertainment is on offer, from karaoke to magic shows and themed evenings. Every day, a new event awaits you to make your stay even more memorable.
For sports fans, tournaments and challenges are organised, as well as aquafun and aquafitness classes given by a qualified instructor.
You'll also find a host of entertainment facilities on site, including a cinema, bowling green, barbecue area, multi-sports pitch, table tennis tables, fitness area and children's play area. Everything has been thought of to ensure that your stay is synonymous with relaxation and pleasure, in a friendly and secure setting.
