Camping Domaine de Beaulieu

Our campsite has a warm and friendly, human feel and features a lovely pool area with a round, semi-covered heated pool, paddling pools, relaxation areas and a solarium, as well as outdoor water slides for the more adventurous.

There’s no club atmosphere and no action-packed programme, making this the ideal campsite for families with young children! The activities proposed in summer are straightforward and pleasant for everyone but the emphasis is above-all on your tranquillity. While you’re on holiday, why not try a range of sports activities and discover something new? 

The low season is a relaxing, peaceful time but we pick up the pace in July and August 6 days a week thanks to our motivated and very dynamic entertainment team, who will entertain you with an action-packed programme during the daytime and in the evening! Adults and teenagers can gently stretch their muscles at the pool every morning, but the afternoon is more energetic, with sports tournaments and team games for all. You can end the day in style with a concert, bingo session, magic show or cabaret entertainment lasting late into the night. Dance parties are also organised for those who like to move their body. There is no supervised kids club with fixed dates and times, but young children (aged 5 to 12) still have plenty to do thanks to a weekly activity timetable put together just for them, including face painting, painting, and cutting-out workshops, ball games, theatre, treasure hunts and so much more. 

The forest trail that runs alongside the campsite is the perfect departure point for bike rides along the ‘Vendée en Vélo’ itineraries. With its modern and comfortable mobile homes with television, this quality campsite definitely lives up to its name! (“Beau lieu” = lovely place)

Whether you’re looking for basic essentials, added comfort or a treat, the many services and amenities on offer will ensure your holiday is a success. 

Between the 01/05 and the 15/09, you can come and enjoy a cocktail or a cup of coffee at the bar, any time of day. Try the local specialities of Vendée at the restaurant or, for a quick meal, try the snack bar where you'll find pizza, paninis and chicken & chips. There’s also a mini-market for all the basic essentials and newspapers, as well as bread and pastries for those who enjoy a hearty breakfast. The whole campsite has Wi-Fi cover (fees apply). Practical amenities include a launderette (fees apply) with irons and ironing boards. For those must-have barbecue pleasures, gas barbecues are available for rent (canister not provided, electric barbecues prohibited). You can also rent a bike (fees apply) to go exploring the area’s numerous cycle paths.
